How my lens was formed

My work is shaped by the intersection of psychology, strategy execution and organizational reality. I began studying psychology in the early nineties, driven by an interest in how people make sense of their situation and how that understanding shapes action. Work later took me into organizations where structure, priorities, incentives and leadership proved just as decisive.

Organizations in practice

Across consulting, transformation and management roles, one pattern has kept returning. Organizations often have clear intent, capable people and formal alignment, while execution still does not work as expected. The issue is rarely one isolated factor. It is how priorities, resources and decisions connect in practice, and whether the organization functions as an integrated system.

Advisory foundation

Human Conditions builds on more than two decades of work with leadership teams across strategy execution and organizational development. The work combines structured analysis with focused conversations to understand what is actually happening, identify where the system breaks down and drive adjustments that improve how the organization works in practice.

Academic background

I hold Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology from the University of Gothenburg, with a focus on scientific method and experimental psychology. I also hold a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. In 2009 I was a Visiting Scholar at the Wharton School’s Center for Human Resources, deepening my interest in how strategy, people and structure interact in practice.
